My hotel in Rochester, NY on the first leg of this trip. This was taken after hellish flights the previous day, 2 hours of sleep the night prior and an all day meeting. ~sigh. Day 2 is done. A good shot of both Eve and Claire their first time fishing. This was taken at American Falls Reservoir near Pocatello, Idaho on July 8, 2008 just below the dam behind the boat dock. Eve had a bit of a harder time; Claire was a natural. Both were slap-happy about the whole affair. I wish we could stay longer. Next time, we will.

The first rainbow trout I've caught in over 20 years. Good stuff. It was a small fish (about 40 Lbs.) but we let him go so he'd grow up big and strong and be a bigger fish for someone else...Fine Susie, it was only about .75Lbs but it was fun to reel in. The girls helped and screamed and giggled all simultaneously.

Day 2 in Idaho. Ralph and Susie took us to Deep Creek for some fishing. We went to Devil's Creek Reservoir first but it was too muddy for kids. It was a nice enough day. A little warm with nice breezes. If only the fish had been biting better. The girls LOVED it. It was the first time they had put their feet in a lake.

Shoshone Falls near Twin Falls, Idaho. Very scenic...the girls loved it having never seen a waterfall before. You have to time these falls just right as there isn't always water going over them but we caught a break here.

Here we are on the way to Idaho. The girls did amazingly well considering the experience on the last trip here (which was a grueling 16 hour scream fest in horrible weather conditions). This trip I set the cruise at 60Mph and surprised myself that we could get 28Mpg in our CR-v, fully loaded with the A/C on. Awesome.

I'm not kidding, that was the name of this restaurant we ate at. Among the 'family' style dishes we shared, we had lobster cracked in half with drizzled Singapore mayo over it, shark fin soup, boiled grouper (he was still smiling at us), and sea cucumber stew. I should have photographed the food. Those are probaly Mike Rowe's geoducks in the first photo. It was about 90 degrees F here.

Here is the next iteration of my setup. Was able to keep the wiring pretty much the same. Had a hell of time getting the tubing to lay correctly so one will see "XFX" lit up nice and green on my new 7800GT graphics card. The tubes for the resevoir are now routed outside of the case. Some drilling, some new rattle can paint, a brass pressure fitting and lot more vinyl tubing made it all come

It was bound to happen sooner or later. My Fleeman PC sprung a leak after running just dandy with my water cooled setup for little over a year. The culprit was a cracked resevoir made out of soft white plastic by Swiftech. At historic Ravenswood in Livermore for Christmas. Still can't figure out why Santa doesn't have real boots when all other cast members were in period or reproduction late Victorian garments. Sigh. Cool pony though.

Some new color to go with our living room refresh. New carpet too but you only get to see the red vinyl cover of the pad. We will have to take some new photos of the carpet...when the room gets put back together.
